How to Apply for FBR Custom Jobs 2025?
Follow these steps to apply for FBR Custom jobs online:
- Eligible candidates are advised to apply online through the National Jobs Portal at the link https://njp.gov.pk. No manual or hard copy of the application will be accepted by any office.
- Appointment will be made purely on a contract basis for two (02) years in terms of guidelines for appointment on a contract basis issued by the Establishment Division vide O.M. No. 8/10/2000-CP-I dated 21.03.2000, as amended from time to time. In exceptional cases, further extension beyond two (2) years will be considered by the Authority.
- Vacancies shall be filled by appointment of persons domiciled in their respective province/region/district of each office strictly under Rule 15 of the aforesaid rules and instructions issued by the Establishment Division from time to time.
- Vacancies in BS-05 are ordinarily filled on a local basis; however, since the jurisdiction of the Customs field formations extends beyond the headquarters of the offices, the vacancy of Sepoy (BS-05) will be filled on a jurisdictional basis.
- Candidates will be required to bring original documents (educational, domicile, experience certificate, etc.) along with one set of attested copies of all documents at the time of the interview.
- Screening/skill tests (where required) will be conducted as per the Recruitment Policy of the Federal Government.
- Physical standards (height and chest measurements along with other physical tests that the recruitment committee deems necessary, i.e., running, pushups, chin-ups, etc.) for the post of Sepoy will be conducted for pre-screening of the candidates. Female candidates shall also have to undergo physical standards (i.e., height and other aforementioned tests).
- A 10% quota for women and a 5% quota for minorities (non-Muslims) shall also be strictly observed as per government policy/instructions.
- The Customs field formations reserve the right not to fill any vacancy or to reduce/increase the number of vacancies if the circumstances so warrant at the time of final selection.
- In addition to the 5-year general upper age limit relaxation by the government, further upper age relaxation shall be restricted to the following categories of candidates, as per relevant rules/policies of the federal government:
